Purchased this Belkin Wireless charging stand to use with my iPhone XS Max.

This charger makes my phone feel quite hot while the phone is charging. I have several other wireless chargers and while the phone gets warm using them it never gets as hot as it does with this Belkin.

Will this damage my phone using this charger?

If the charger is charging at a higher rate than the ones you used before (7.5w vs. 5w) then there will be a bit more heat generated. My Anker Powerwave 7.5w charging stand makes my iPhone warm but not hot. My iPhone X is a year old and battery capacity is at 97%, 6 of those months were using the wireless charger exclusively..

I have the Mophie 7.5 puck and my phone does not get this hot on the Mophie.
