Announced at CES 2021, Belkin's new MagSafe compatible 2-in-1 wireless charger is now available to pre-order for $99.99.

The accessory features a MagSafe charger for the iPhone 12 series and a Qi wireless charging pad at the bottom of the base for devices such as AirPods. The main MagSafe charger charges iPhone 12 models at 15W, and the base charging pad charges at 5W. The MagSafe charger is magnetic, meaning the iPhone 12 series can be set in either portrait or landscape mode.

Additional features include an LED indicator at the base of the charger that indicates the charging status for AirPods. A white light means AirPods, or any other Qi-compatible device, is charging. An amber LED indicates the device is not positioned correctly on the pad and is not charging.

Belkin is offering the charger in either black or white, and it retails for $99.99. Belkin's website says that if customers pre-order today, estimated shipping will take place in late March.

I have the 3-in-1 version for home and love it. Going to order the 2-in-1 version for the office, when we are allowed back in of course.

I have the 3 in one, and while it is probably the best 3-in-1 ever made, it is still a little disappointing.

1. The dimple for the AirPods charger is still very hard to find. I often can't get it positioned. It should really be a big divot shaped for the case so that it can fall into it and there be no doubt.

2. It's actually still very difficult to position the iPhone on the MagSafe charger. I guess it is due to the fact that the magnets themselves are so small (just a tiny ring), but you end up sliding your phone all over the surface to get it to lock into place. MagSafe may have addressed the placement issue of phones sliding off the charger after they've been placed, but it has not made it any easier to achieve initial placement.

I have the 3 in 1 so wouldn't have a need for this but still looks good for a normal desk stand

I also have the 3-in-1, and agree with your assessment, except for the AirPods dimple. If it was any deeper, I think it would prevent standard Qi phones from being able to establish a connection.

The feature I enjoy the most is the ability to have the phone in landscape mode while charging. I keep mine in front of my monitor, so in landscape mode, it doesn't block my monitor. As I'm on calls all day, it's nice to have the phone there in a good spot to quick go in/out of Mute. Two taps (wake, then unmute) on the phone screen, on a sturdy base is very nice to have

I'm happy with the Satechi one. I know it's not a 15W (7.5 I think?). But for my use -- e.g., it sits on the desk on the magnets for hours during the work day -- it is more than sufficient for considerably less money.

I also much prefer the look of the Satechi base in shiny white and aluminum(ish?).

The one downside I have found with the Satechi -- which maybe this addresses? -- is if my 12 Pro Max is in vertical orientation, it doesn't leave much room to get to the AirPods case without having to be a bit more precise on the grab.

But overall, it's aesthetically pleasing, functional, reasonably priced and seemingly pretty well made.

I agree but I find these two very minor issues now, though larger when I first got it. I can find the magnetic spot on the phone very well now without the shifting about. It helps to start with the phone higher than the magnetic and slide downwards. I have AirPods Pro and I can put the case down correctly the first time now. I've found the case doesn't have to be centered to charge as long as it is mostly over the divot. Possibly this doesn't translate as well to the AirPods case.

For people who don¡t have or want to charge AirPods, is it there a version only with the main stand? Could the base charger work with an Apple Watch instead?
