So I was kinda reluctant to go Snow Leopard on my 2006 macbook pro, 2,33 ghz, 2 RAM., thinking that it would get slower.
But i eventually did. First I benchmarked (geekbench) Tiger, installed a clean Leopard, benchmarked, then installed Snow Leopard and benchmarked...
Here are the results:
TIGER : 3100 POINTS
LEOPARD : 3082 POINTS
SNOW LEOPARD : 3208 POINTS
So, for all of you out there, worrying that Snow Leopard will slow your tiger-machine down. Just do it!
I know GeekBench isnt a perfect tool, but it does confirm that SL is fast - even on older models...
