Benchmarking my new iMac before/after RAM upgrade

received my refurb 24" White iMac a few days ago. I should have my 3GB RAM from Crucial tomorrow. I am wondering if there is a way for me to benchmark performance before and after (1GB vs 3GB) and which apps will benefit the most from the upgrade? Aperture 2.1, iPhoto, iMovie, CS2, Handbrake, etc?

GeekBench it.

More RAM is good for multi-tasking, video editing, photo editing with lots of layers, multires in CAD software, overall better system performace...and some more.
