Whatcha thing

Tiger is an early beta and not the one Steve demo'd
 
These results make sense to me, tiger can be up to a year away from release. I would not think Apple would release an OS that performs more poorly than the current one.

Maybe the benchmarks aren't optomized/compatible with tiger (Xbench at least). Anyway, Tiger is too early to judge its overall performance compared to panther.
