I would like to know the benefits of jail breaking an iPhone 4 with redsn0w. Can anybody tell me what I would be able to do with this jail breaking that might help me.

Alot more freedom to do what ever you want with your phone.

There are so many things you can do with a Jailbreak if you are into that sort of customization.

Not just free apps but that is why so many are against Jailbreaking in the first place.

Jailbreak is not Free Apps

free apps.

I think Free Apps is not the right answer. Jailbreak is not mean to use Paid App using Illegal Method.

But Jailbreak is to enable hidden or restricted such as replace Messages App using Wonderful Paid App biteSMS, using Activator, More Icon on home screen, custom icon position, themes and many more..

The best thing to do is back your phone up and try it. If you don't like it, restore your phone. There are dozens of threads on this forum about how people use their jb phones, odds are many would apply to you.

If you JB your iphone, it will become much more useful, and you'll also be able to customize it to suit your needs, (like most new non-apple smart phones) -

Thanks

Thank you all for helping me find the answer I needed I think I might hold off on jail breaking though because can it corrupt your phone?

Yeah, totally agree with you. I think you better of with original phone. Don't jailbreak it because you are not ready.

Read and learn more about jailbreaking and when you are ready, come back here and we are happy to help you with that.

Happy holidays! :)
