Hi,

I am currently running Firefox 4 in 32-bit mode in order to allow this excellent pdf plugin to continue working (it uses apple's engine to view pdfs in the browser, which I much prefer to the adobe plugin, or various google docs extensions) .

But I'd be willing to switch to forego this extension and run FF in the default 64-bit mode if there are noticeable performance/flash performance/memory usage benefits to be had. So are there?

running in 64bits does not really affect performance all that much. At least on a browser. I see little to know benefit for running a web browser in 64bit mode.
