I currently have a 3G on the AT&T network that has been upgraded to iOS 4 and am wondering what the benefits are for jailbreaking the phone. Will it allow the iOS 4 multitasking? Wallpapers? What other iOS 4 features that currently are disabled will become enabled?

I will be upgrading to the iPhone 4 at the end of the summer so since this is temporary is there any real benefit?

most apps will require ios 4, folders, email inbox is different

u can activate wallpapers and multitasking if you want on the 3G

But these will really slow down a 3G

not mine, not one bit. I was worried and planned on restoring shortly after i checked that box. My 3G is actually faster with all the goodies than it was back on 3.1.2

I have not reset, resprung, powered down, since i JB to 4.0 and still running like a champ.

now if i could just stop the "no sim found" problem I would be good.
