Does anyone know if Benks are releasing a new case for the 16 Pro Max (ideally the Armor Pro 600D Kevlar with a camera control button? All their current cases have a cut out for this button and I would rather their case actually covers the button to prevent scratches etc. I have emailed Benks asking them this but have not heard anything back. Has anyone heard of any rumours on this matter please? Thank you for reading.

Haven’t heard anything yet.
Hmm my thinking too. Do I wait to buy the 16 Pro Max phone until I hear any confirmation from Benks re the CB cover? The Apple silicone is my other choice as this case DOES cover the CB but seems to offer slightly less protection…

I asked them a fair while back and was told they had no plans to add a button.

They may have changed their plans, I doubt it but hope they do. We’ll see with the latest reply when it comes.

Incidentally, I find the cut out on the ArmorPro the best out out of the few I’ve tried. The piece along the top being the stiffest, not perfect but sturdy enough.

That’s helpful to know. Would you recommend it for the 16 PM? Just really don’t want scratches etc to mark the CB. My iPhone X is on its last legs now and really want to upgrade in time for Christmas (and enjoy the new camera with family photos etc) but just need to get the ‘right’ case before I buy the phone. The Armor Pro seems to over better protection in general over the Apple silicone case which does cover the CB.

Yup. It seems to me they have no plans to change their Armor Pro case (otherwise they would have told me)?! The vast majority of the ‘best protection cases for the 16 Pro Max have the cut out. Perhaps this is the norm..

So you guys suggest I just proceed and buy the current Armor Pro 600D Kevlar for my new £1,400 toy?! Surely better overall protection than Apple silicone…

Yes, I’d def recommend it. The camera button is pretty recessed in the case. Is harder to use compared to naked or Apple Silicone case but still very usable and much easier to locate without looking.

Thanks. Very unlikely the CB will actually get scratched given the protection around it right? I want to buy the Armor Pro so I can get on and buy my new 16 PM and enjoy it over 🎄

Also, given you own the Benks case, would you suggest it over the Apple silicone one which has the CB cover?

Thanks. Not into massive protection rugged cases but just something which will protect a £1,400 toy whilst not adding too much bulk etc. Apart from the CB cut out, Benks Armor Pro seems to tick all the boxes.

Well…I own three Apple silicone cases too. 😄
I’ve only recently put the Benks on. I had it before the iPhone launched as it was my favourite last gen case and when I ordered it no one knew if the Apple cases would have a button or not.

Everyone else was only doing cases with cut outs so when it was apparent their cases had a good button, I went with that. I’ve enjoyed using them, the feel and colour choice but after a couple of months I fancied a change so put the Benks on and after getting past the cut out I’m loving it.
No doubt the Apple cases will get used in rotation also.

I think the Apple case is protective enough, but may take damage itself if dropped.

You’d be fine with either, or get both!

Pug 72 - thank you! One question, if you were me, which case (not both as too poor) would you buy to protect the toy?!
