BenQ 310 and Tiger....problems?

Should be getting a 14" iBook next month for my daughter going off to college. I was thinking of getting the BenQ 310 mouse as it is a super mouse. My wife has one with her 14" iBook (Panther) and it works like a charm. Read a review on Cnet that someone said Tiger and the BenQ 310 are having problems. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks. Cheers
