BenQ pd2500q 25’ 1440p

Hello there,
I am returning a PD2700u because when using the monitor in windows scaled with a 1080p screen, things look horrible! Even in catalina at 1440p screen like I found it hard to focus on letters because they seem soft!

I was wondering if 1440p in a 25 inch factor would be good text rendering by Catalina? I am not expecting something like 4k but it would let me use my monitor for both my macbook pro and windows pc. Do you think someone would need scaling for 25inch at 1440p? How would movies look at it?

I use the Dell Ultra Fine 25" @ 1440p, 2 of them switching between Mac and PC. No issues at all.

is the text clear? do you mind taking a picture up close the font so I can see it well? Do you think 1440p without scaling is easily readable at 25 inches?

Text at 1440p on a 25" display might be a little small, but it should be sharp. If it's not sharp, there's something else at work. I've been using 27" displays at 1440p for better part of a decade on both macOS and Windows and they look perfectly acceptable to me.

I have seen a lot of reports of people claiming that the font anti-aliasing with 1440p is horrible ....so if it makes no difference from a 1080p....
