BenQ ScreenBar Halo and iMac

Hello.
I would like to use a lightbar (BenQ ScreenBar Halo) with my iMac (M1, 24 inch). I would like the lightbar to be plugged straight into the iMac. But I also found out that it's USB-A, not USB-C. Could a normal reduction (like this one) be plugged into the iMac and then be used to plug the lightbar in (into the iMac, obviously)?

yes it should do.
If you buy a non-apple version it will be less than a half the price but you should check the specs. E.g make sure it passes through enough power for the lights.
