I have the 2018 iPad Pro 11” and I am aware of the bendgate phenomenon. Mine did not have this issue and it is only the Wi-Fi model.

Fast forward 4 years and I suddenly noticed my ipad is bent quite a lot! I have not sat on it etc but then got me thinking only 2 weeks ago I bought a new charger that i’ve used on this ipad twice, the BoostCharge 20W USB-C PD Wall Charger. Is it possible this caused some sort of overheating which led it to bend the ipad?

p.s. Did anyone have luck getting iPad replaced by Apple under uk consumer law?

I suspect you don’t understand how PD chargers work. There is data communication between the device and the charger to negotiate a mutually acceptable charging profile. So the iPad is in control of how it is charged, not the charger. The brand of the PD charger will make no difference. (If the data communication fails it defaults to the lowest charge profile, maximum 7.5W)
