i have always been a HUGE BeOS fan. long before i was a Mac OS X fan. but i've always ran it on crappy x86 boxes, which i am lacking now, with one set aside for Windows XP development, and a PowerMac G4 and a PowerBook G4. so, does anyone know where to get a powerpc version of beos? and if so, would it run on a powermac g4? i cant get it working on virtual pc 5, 6, or 7. i know openbeos is coming along, but very slowly... and beos max edition is only x86.

I have versions 4.0 and 4.5 but they only work through the clone generation (604/604e/603/603ev). Apple closed off the pipeline of information after Steve Jobs' return and Be's management didn't feel like working backwards using startup code from mkLinux or other sources.
