There must be a parallel universe in which Apple bought Be, Inc. rather than NeXT; where the company would now be headed by Jean-Louis Gassée; and where we would now be browsing the internet with NetPositive -assuming they sorted out its myriad problems - rather than with Safari.
Not sure it would be a better world, perhaps it would be more fun...
My question now: there used to be a satiric website with BeOS “news” which often had me crying with laughter - but for the life of me I can’t remember what it was called. Does anyone know whether it is still around or accessible?
