Assuming the former, you might try typing "parental control mac" into Google and see what pops up.

Assuming you just want to block access to adult/offensive/inappropriate websites, then you could try using OpenDNS to prevent access to site categories and individual sites yourself.

It's just a matter of updating a couple of fields in your Routers config.

You know, I had never thought of that. That's a damned fine and very very simple idea. And free as well. I might well do that myself now - cheers!
 
Just found this thread. I'm looking to setup filters on my kids ipads and the family computer.

Has anyone used k9webprotection.com, or should I use something else?
