Best 2.0 Speaker System-GigaWorks T20?

I currently have JBL Creature II speakers. They've been great so far but I really miss having a real volume knob and a headphone jack. I was also looking at some 2.0 speaker systems to further reduce clutter (no sub) near my desk. I was checking out the Creative GigaWorks T20 or T40 systems. Any good/bad experiences with the T20/T40? Would I lose a huge amount of base with no sub? Any comparisons to the Creatures? My budget is about $80-90. Thanks for your time.

Thats a link to a UK based retailer with reviews for that product, im sure you'll get it a lot cheaper over in the US but the reviews are worth a read! Btw, you miss having a "real volume knob"? explain?

Haha sorry, the JBL Creatures have touch sensitive volume controls so you have to either tap the buttons up or down or hold them. Gets annoying for quick volume changes.
