Probably asked a ton, but I haven't found anything recent. Would like something I could use as a monitor and as a spare small TV. Not looking to break the bank, but don't want junk either.

My roommate has a version of this monitor that he likes:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236100
and not too expensive at $160.

And I had one of these before:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001503

More expensive at $249, but it also has a built in TV tuner and composite/component inputs.

These aren't going to be the highest quality or have the best viewing angles, but they're good for the price. They are both LED back-lit too, so they should have better blacks than standard CFL back-lit displays.

I would be pleased with either of these, but i'm not a display snob :D
