hey guys, i am going away to boarding school next year, and i wanted to play my 360 w/ GHII in my dorm next year. Well i scoped it out, and the only possible way is for me to bring a moniter. well, i thought i would ask around and see what the best possible, moderatley cheap moniter was that would be able to hook up to my 360. I was just wondering if any of you guys could help, thanks a ton!

EDIT: apologies, i didn't include my computer! i have a CD macbook 1gb of ram (if the ram is necessary). thanks again

You are asking for two mutually-exclusive things. You cannot expect the cheapest monitor to be the best possible. Luckily for you, cheap flat panel monitors are pretty good and the best monitors are not terribly expensive. What is more, Sharp now makes flatpanel monitors designed specifically for gamers. Take a look at Sharp's AQUOS® LC-32GP1U.

Not only that... but the macbook will only support an external monitor with a maximum resolution of 1920x1200. The Apple 30" is 2560 x 1600, as is the Dell 30". I'm not sure they even make a 30" monitor that is 1920x1200 native... and if they do I'm sure it's one of the cheaper, poorer models.

My bet it the Dell 27" is as big as you'll get and stick to 1920x1200. As far as a 360 hookup, I have no clue.
