I gave up on the 1TB drive for my MBP and am now settling on the 750GB drive since there are 9.5mm drives. I went to the "genius" bar and they told me vibration of the 1 TB drive was because it was bigger. So I figured the 750GB drive would be better due to its 9.5mm size.

My question is...What is the best drive for this? Which one should I look into? I don't get how newegg charges 0.99 cent shipping for the 1TB but 6.29 for the 750GB WD drive..

Oh no...which 12.5mm drive did u have? I just got this external drive which houses this 1tb 5400rpm drive. I am taking the drive out of the enclosure and putting it into my 13".

Is it really noisy? Which 1tb did you have? I still have time to cancel my order so any info on your situation would be much appreciated!
