I often use my iPhone in direct, 100 percent sunlight outdoors, when external temp is 90+ Fahrenheit. No shade nearby. I can use my phone for a minute or two at a time until it starts to get hot and dims from the heat. Using my iPhone under some artificial shade (hat, shirt, etc) helps a little bit but not enough.

does anyone have an idea of an accessory that will keep my iPhone cool, so the phone does not dim the display or overheat while using?
I’m guessing some type of fan, I don’t care if I need an external battery pack to power it or if it’s powered by the phone itself. I’m sure someone else runs into this issue. Interested in hearing your solutions.
Thank you!!

The majority of the heat on iPhones escapes through the screen and you’re possibly in one of the worst situations to use a smartphone so there’s nothing you can do unfortunately

even worse that your screen will be cranked to 100% most of the time, it’s over

I would say the majority of the heat is dissipated through the back of the phone...

Try something like this? Lots of gamers have issues with gpu heating so it should work with you?
