Is it still Glimmerblocker when using Safari and AdBlock/ABP in Chrome?

I really like the idea of Glimmerblocker but it seems to slow my page loading a bit?

I use AdBlock and Ghostery on Safari and have not noticed any effect on on speed.

Admittedly, I am not terrifically sensitive to microsecond changes in loading time, so I may not be the best judge.:p

I couldn't get these working right so went back to using Firefox + Adblock. Would you say it's possible to get the same ad-free experience, like no youtube ads etc?

When loading a page that has many "trackers", Ghostery seems to "hold up" the loading process momentarily while it "establishes" the blocks. Then the page content is displayed.

This is "slightly noticeable" to me when a page loads, but not particularly bothersome.
