Best ADSL modem to work with New Airport Extreme Base Station?

Having spent many hours on the phone to Apple Care they've concluded my D-Link DSL-320T modem doesn't work with the new Airport Extreme Base station (2.4 + 5.0 GHz Dual Band model).

I desperately need some advice or recommendations for a new modem.

Apple care recommended the ADSL Nation X-Modem M3

This is still in supply directly from the manufacturer but many retailers don't supply it anymore. Interesting Apple stores used to stock it up until Nov 07?

You should just buy a router that has an ADSL modem built in. Forget Apple's networking gear, it's overpriced junk - try to get a refund if you can.
