Hello,

I’ve never replaced an iPhone battery but I traded for a used iPhone 5S a year or two ago and it was working great until recently. I accidentally left it on charge and after that it wouldn’t hold a charge for very long at all (you could literally watch the number drop just trying to browse a webpage). Then, it wouldn’t charge with certain chargers. Now, it won’t charge at all. So, I think it just needs a new battery.

Being new to this, I’m wondering if the batteries from iFixit last better or Scanditech or if there is another company? Many of the Scanditech reviews are good but some say that it doesn’t last very well which concerns me (though I know that can happen with most anything). I’d love any recommendations. That would be super helpful. Thanks so much in advance!
