I am really enjoying Safari as my "default" browser but have encountered problems with surfing some Web sites as I get activity errors and "erroneous" Web page layouts.

I'm a former IE user prior to Safari and am looking for a secondary browser as back-up.

Anyone care to recommend one? I admire Safari's speed, but want to have another one on hand.

Thanks.

ps:
Not interested in tech-specs.. but more into end-user usability.. Web speed, intuitive interface, good all-around Web browsing experience.

I love Firefox. Pages load extremely quickly for me, more so than with Safari.

I like Camino as well, but it's not quite as snappy as Firefox.

I'm with dotnina - I'd recommend Firefox as a secondary browser, since I use it myself for that very purpose.

Try Shiira, it's almost a Safari copycat as it's developed with apple's webkit and it's practically the same but with another face and functions, it lets you have safari bookmarks without exporting/importing them... I'm giving a try, you could make your own browser if you have time :)

In case you don't know where to get Shiira from, here's a link to the Shiira homepage.

Ofcourse you have the regular mozilla, its almost like firefox.
The reason why i use mozilla instead of firefox is that is faster to hide/show your sidebar in mozilla than in firefox.

Lynx is probably the fastest I have seen

Anyways. Mine rank Safari, FireFox, Mozilla, Camino

I haven't found a site yet (not that I surf that much) that Safari or FireFox couldn't handle.

For me I use Safari about 99.9% of the time. That .1% is in FireFox. On Windows its all FireFox baby.
