I have a couple of wordpress sites. What is the best analytics application on the web now?

I have been using Google analytics but i guess I have researched any others whether it be a wordpress plugin or 3rd party site similar to google.

I am looking for ease or use and user friendliness.

Thanks!

I like to keep it out of hands of Google and co, and then I think Piwik is a good one.

I think there're few best analytics apps which could be the alternatives of Google Analytics like Open Web Analytics, Piwik and Clicky.

I believe wordpress can have it's own analytics using the JetPack plugin also adds other useful wordpress features like free use of their CDN.

If you're looking for just super-basic tracking - even something like sitemeter or statcounter may suffice.

However, I just use Google Analytics on everything, coded into the theme. I usually avoid plugins whenever possible.

You can also use Quantcast on a WordPress site. I use them on mine and it works well.
