To free some space, I'm thinking about moving all of my pictures to my computer from my iPhone and just remotely accessing them..

What's the best app for this with the best interface for picture viewing?

Picasa (Mac/PC/Linux) is great for organazing pictures by date/folder or custom albums. It has uploading capabilites so after you have them on your computer's HD you can upload the albums to the web. They also have an ipone optimized page for viewing albums. Also picasa has some basic photo editing features such as crooping/contrast/redeye and picknik integration.

I personally prefec Picasa over iPhoto.

Ditto.

Dropbox is a good app for uploading the pics to and then viewing them from within the app on the iPhone or a PC/laptop

iPhoto, nice and easy, no need to log in anywhere nor upload anything.

I use Picasa on the web (Picasa Web to upload my pictures to. This allows me to view them anywhere, and I can share the album URL to friends, family, etc. Plus it frees up space on my desktop and iPhone.

Personally, I'd never EVER use flickr or photobucket. I won't deal with any of their ad's or especially their censorship of MY pictures.
