Hello all,

I would like to know what application would turn an iPod touch or any other camera-equipped i device into an IP camera, all while meeting these needs:
  • 15fps
  • Compatible with standard software expecting MJPEG streams, including PC-based software

Or, if standalone, add:
  • Remote-recording, preferably over SFTP, or with a server-side software to easily view recordings online. avoiding iCloud as much as possible.
  • motion detection

What paid or free application would meet those needs? What are your experience around this application?

I do not know if this meets your requirements, but it is a video sharing app/website. We played around with it back on the iphone 4, but found it ultimately useless unless you were/are a hipster, and even then its not as good as instagram.

Thanks for your reply, but as you state it, it doesn't meet my requirements. I want a software to turn it into an IP cam for surveillance purposes, not with any broadcasting in mind.

Any other ideas?
