Greetings,

I'm in the process of starting my own business and am curious what applications other small business owners have found useful. I'll need something for project management and financial tracking to start- which needn't be within the same program. I've looked through several applications on sites like Apple's downloads and Cool OSX Apps but I'm having trouble narrowing it down.

Depends what business you are in.

Excel and Word are probably pretty high up on the list. As for financial management, you can't beat GNU Cash, and you certainly can't beat the price (free) :).

As for project management, I'm not sure. How full featured does the application need to be? You could probably do simple to moderate project management just using iCal and notes (even better if you have an iPhone). Also take a look at OmniPlan.
