I do not understand why Apple did not release a back case for ipad pro 10.5.
What third company offers the best available back case?

The CTsing case is not slippery. It not quite as soft, thick, or grippy as the Apple silicone cover but it definitely has some "tooth". You do have to cut the cover off and do a little surgery to accommodate the keyboard but it's not hard to do. Some people have reported that the charging port opening isn't big enough but that isn't a problem with the one I got.

JETech, but not as is. Modification is easy though. I removed the front cover (just pulls off as it is only glued to back cover)and kept the back cover. It will work like this fine but the smart apple keyboard magnetic strip is about 1/4 inch inch too long on each side so it looks a little odd but works. I went one step further and used scissors to trim the JETech back cover. Now it works perfectly and looks great. I'm really happy with it and the price can't be beat. Be careful that you don't trim past the little tabs that hold the back cover onto the iPad

So I got JETech to give it a try and I realized the inside part of the case is plastic. I feel like this is going to scratch the back of the ipad... any opinions on this?

totally agree. I think people are speculating that apple will sell one eventually.

Hey guys! Is everyone enjoying their new iPad Pros?? Hope so. Just had a quick question that i'd imagine many people are wondering as well.

I bought the ipp 10.5 the day it came out, received it the first day of shipping. Got myself the smart keyboard as well as the apple pencil & a 3rd party tempered glass screen protector. I'm new to the iPad Pro scene, this is my first. I love the keyboard, & prefer to bring it places. I have a small cheap carrying case, which fits the iPad with the keyboard, etc. The problem, for me anyway, is the exposure on the back of my iPad. I'm someone who tries to take very good care of my devices & the smallest scratch on the back of my very expensive iPad would bug me.

My question is, does anyone have a good "back case" that is compatible with the smart keyboard? I'm assuming what most people did with the first gen iPad Pro was use the smart keyboard & apple's silicone case, which seems like an awesome combination but unfortunately Apple is not selling silicone cases for the new iPad Pro 10.5? Anyone know if they ever will?

Anyway, if you're still reading this, do you have any ideas on how i could protect the back of my iPad & still easily slide it onto the keyboard without having to take the case off? I've looked far & wide on amazon, but it seems like there's still a shortage of these products as its a very new product.

Any help is appreciated, thanks guys!

Well, just look through their shop but I guess it doesnt matter if you attach the smart cover or the keyboard - though I would just get one of their awesome all in ones, If I didnt want the keyboard (wich is a MUST if you ask me)

Their website contact us page is showing error 404 page cannot be displayed.

I am looking out for a back cover which I can use with the Apple Smart cover which is compatible with the Apple Smart Cover ! So I wonder if this would be compatible with the Apple Smart Cover ?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. I have a cheap Moko clear case for mine right now and it's advertised as "Works with smart keyboard". It works with both the smart keyboard and the Smart Cover.

Only if I could know before ordering, I have dropped them a mail but haven't heard anything from them. They are expensive as well !

I have just upgraded from an iPad Air 2 that was surrounded by a Logitech Type+ case (which doubled its weight and thickness) to the iPad Pro 10.5 with an Apple Smart Keyboard.

I'll definitely need to get a case to keep my iPad Pro in pristine condition but it does need to be lightweight to maintain the USP of the new, very expensive, tablet/keyboard combo.

However, there do seem to be plenty of cases on the way: https://www.torrocases.co.uk/collections/ipad-pro-2
"Our Range of iPad Pro 2 (10.5") cases are coming soon...."

I guess the best answer pro tem is to buy a cheap plastic or silicone case now and consider upgrading to a fancy leather case once the major manufacturers release their offerings.

I got my KhoMo back cover in today. I really like it. The material feels nice and all the ports line up perfectly. The camera cutout is a little off center, but it's not a dealbreaker. It pairs well with the Apple smart cover, but you can tell the smart cover was not designed to be used with a back cover. The edge of the smart cover doesn't extend past the back cover so it's hard to open from the side. I either have to slightly push the smart cover over a little with my thumb or open from the lightning port cutout instead. Overall, I am very pleased.

Got the poetic back cover today and I’d say it’s excellent. Very grippy and has an Apple Pencil holder!
