Hi guys,

I'll be moving around and living month to month in apartments across the east coast.

I have a decent sized vehicle but looking for a full or queen sized bed solution that can be laid out on the floor in the apartment, but when it's time to move I can fold it up and bring it to my next destination.

There are some mattresses on amazon that fold into thirds, and there are those japanese futon beds that look promising, but I was just curious if anyone else has any ideas, or what those feel like. I really don't feel like compromising on sleep quality just for the sake of portability.

Thanks!

I'd guess some sort of air mattress, some of them are pretty comfy, though some are *squeaky*.

For years I've had an air mattress in the closet for when guests show up and an extra bed is needed.

Some people don't like sleeping on them but they're worth considering given the OP's need to move frequently.

A warning tho; there are cheap air mattresses that will leak almost from the start

Yeah, definitely spend a little more - we got a pretty good quality one, it's several years old without a hint of a leak - came with an electric pump, nice carry bag.
