Best Beginner/Consumer Tablet?

For the beginning Photoshop user, what would be the bast tablet for them to use? I've been looking at the Wacom Pen Tablet, but just wondering if that is the best one for me or if I should be looking at other manufacturers/higher-end tablets from Wacom.

Where can I get the best deals on a pen tablet too?

Wacom seems to be the only manufacturer with actually good tablets.

I have an Intuos 3 A4 at home and a Bamboo A5 at work and aside from the size and the customizable keys on the Intuos, I don't find all that much difference between them.
