What is the most appropriate benchmark for picking a Mac to perform with Lightroom?

What machine are you looking to buy, a laptop or desktop?

Thanks, I currently have a Mac Mini 6,2 (late 2012 Quad Core i7 2.3 GHz) but was wondering if a recent Macbook Air might not do the job just as well, as I need a new laptop anyway that is very mobile.
