Ya, there's an app for that. But I want one that just works and will extract bdays from my Facebook/Contacts, etc etc. I want it to just work and keep it simple. I hate forgetting my family, relatives and friends' bdays.:(

You're going to want a Palm Pre. Most iPhone apps are pretty modular whereas apps on the Pre work together.
 
Pretty simple, the Facebook app extracts b-days from FB and adds them to your contacts. When a b-day is added to a contact, it creates a calendar event.

My sync is on but I don't see bdays prefilled.
