I want to be able to rip my Blu-Rays onto my Mac Pro. I already have the drive, but I am looking for a nice, easy to use program that will help me rip the Blu rays so they can be played over my xbox and other electronics.

Any advice? I'm new on the whole blu ray deal.

I haven't used it personally, but it seems a lot of people here use MakeMKV. Try searching and there should be some threads for you to help out.

X-Box can't play Blu-Rays! :) MakeMKV and Roxio Roast are the two most popular I think. Personal I don't have a blu-ray ripper for my MBP yet, but I plan to get one.

I use "Rivet" and I can play a bunch of different file types over my xbox. I stream everything from my computer that way instead of buying an apple tv.

I use MakeMKV to rip the disc to the computer and Handbrake to encode it to a 1080p m4v file. Use VLC to then play the file. All free.
