Hi All,

I want a bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo to use with my MBP and I'd rather not pay an arm and a leg for it (i.e. much over 100 eurodollars). I was thinking of either getting the MS wireless mouse 8000 with some bluetooth keyboard (not sure which) or maybe the logitech MX 5000 (which is a combo) but it seems that neither is particularly OS X friendly. I'm not crazy about the mighty mouse and i think the apple bluetooth keyboard is not a full keyboard (maybe the old pro keyboard??). I would also like something that has a chance of working with Linux so that might impose additional compatibility constraints.

I'm sure others have had this problem and I'd like to know what solutions people have come up with. Is the lauded MX 5000 combo worth it even though few of the special functions work or is there a cheaper equivalent alternative. I don't need a fancy keyboard but I would like a nice mouse that feels smooth and looks nice.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.
