Best Broadband in NYC? Please advise!

We're on Earthlink dialup here in NYC, and need a broadband supplier. We're in the NoHo area - can anyone please advise at to which service they feel is the best value, best speed, best contract price etc?

I can tell you what not to get, AOL Broadband.

I have Road Runner, but I don't know if they offer that up north.

Get it directly from your telephone or cable company, they are the ones that are going to supply it in the end anyways.
