Best browser for Mac OS 8.5

Clasilla doesn't work on 8.5. I don't want to update to 8.6. What is the best browser for 8.5? Is IE5.1 my only choice?

Maybe Netscape Communicator 4. something?

I'd be really surprised if you could actually load anything. Your huge problem is going to be certificates.

I've used Clasilla on my other macs I know which websites work and which don't. Some of the older websites I visit in IE don't load properly though which work fine on clasilla...

I would check out iCab. If I remember correctly it was a little better at maintaining support for the older systems. I’m not sure what version to point you to though.

I have other macs that run newer versions of mac os I'd rather stick to lower versions

Here is another question to prove a point - I have 7.5 on a old pre-G3, what web browser can I use for that ? You see where this is going ? Maybe IE 1.0 ? Netscape 1.0 ? While older Mac OS is kewl and I understand for nostalgia one wants to install, I think OS 9 is the best.
