I went to Fry's in Dallas TX yesterday and I bought a $50 iTunes gift card. The guy charges me $40 so I went back for another one, walked out spending $80 and loaded up the iPad with $100 store credit. I have NO idea how they even be allowed to do that, but I'm not complaining.

I'm not sure how they do it either, but I generally buy an $80 card every time they go on sale. I'm slowly building my music collection, plus they're great for buying Mac apps from the app store.

Thanks for the heads up. I purchased an electronic Itunes card from Best Buy. These deals always come in handy.

I have never seen a better discount on iTunes cards. Even at the holiday time.

Best Buy actually does this quite often, it's almost like I've seen it once a month they'll do these crazy discounts. As it stands, they always sell them at 15% off, in store at least.

I've seen them running iTunes cards at 20% off about once a month. As for the default 15% off, my local BB sells iTunes cards at face value.

Not worried, just disappointed that I was so dumb to miss it.

Have a nice day,

Always watch for iTunes cards to go on sale at Christmas. I also notice them at device launch time, meaning new iPhone, iPod, iPad. I have seen them on major three day weekends too.. So ya never know. It won't be long until Target, WalFart, or BB does this again.

If there are old songs u like, go buy used CDs (gohastings.com, some are 1.99 and are actually new) and rip them. This way, you have the actual CD as backup and u can have higher quality mp3s.

By the way, coupon code "Boo" gets u 40% off used CDs.
