I'm looking to buy a MacBook Air and I noticed that Best Buy is offering a 4 year AppleCare+ plan that Apple itself doesn't. Does anybody know if this requires Best Buy doing the warranty work? It would be nice to have another year of coverage for not too much more money but I don't want to use Best Buy for warranty claims.

This real AppleCare+ for MBA only. While Best Buy is an Apple Service Provider, you don't need to use Best Buy when submitting an AppleCare+ support request. Any Apple Service Provider can provide service.
