My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total members will be able to shop exclusive deals during this time, and save even more compared to non-members. This includes those all-time low prices on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro notebooks. You can sign up for these memberships on Best Buy's website, and prices start at $49.99/year.

There are plenty of deals beyond electronics in Best Buy's sale, including low prices on LEGO sets and up to 45 percent off major appliances. For the latter category, Best Buy has up to $1,490 in savings on select French door refrigerators, as well as up to $200 in Best Buy e-gift cards with qualifying purchases.

Not falling for it this time. If I don't see the amount of memory listed, then I will presume it's 8GB and pass.

Kind of crazy they even offer a configuration with 36GB of RAM and still 512 SSD. Considering the storage throughput gets higher with more storage, you’d think that would start a 1TB to get closer to full use of all that RAM.

And this is why the true cost of getting 16gb of ram is usually around $400 as you're forced to buy it from Apple. OTOH, the lower 11-core M3Pro 18/512 model with discount (which is a real MBP with more than 2 display support and the extra ports) is the same price as the M3 base model with 16gb, if you're buying from Apple.

Ah, but of course. The first thing I think of when I see Best Buy is, "I really need to throw down for an Orchid LEGO set. Perhaps this is my chance to snag the Medieval Blacksmith as well."
Well, they need to put something in the DVD aisles.

My best deal so far has been a Logitech MX keys full size keyboard for just €38. I paid over €100 for my other one which I keep in my other office!

The true cost is nothing... 8 GB unified memory is same as 16 GB on PC. You forgot this important feature.

How in the world is this a surprise or a got you moment? You pick the computer you want, it literally gives you the option to change the ram and the cost etc. Everything is upfront and transparent. They even give you the option to get an open item Mac for a discount which is still eligible for Applecare.

If one is looking at 16GB and 525 storage maybe start looking at the pro or look at slick deals to see a good deal pops up. Adorama or Microcenter are life savers.

Same reason its being advertised on Macrumors I imagine. Someone could buy it. There's a chance someone sees a link online, has interest and snag some extra revenue.
