I really want to touch and hold one to see if I like it or not. There's no Apple store anywhere nearby. Does anyone know if Best Buy will at least have a display model?

if your bestbuy has one of those little mac areas, I'm sure they will.

I went to Best Buy this morning and picked up a 16GB Black. As far as I know (at least for the Best Buys in the DC Metro area) they do not have white in any configuration.

I have a Target right next to a Best Buy. I got the mini at Target but then went to Best Buy to pick up an accessory. They could see what I had in the Target bag lol, they gave me some dirty, or maybe puzzled, looks. Either way, based on the fact that they asked me if I just picked one up at Target and seemed put off by it, and the fact that they had cases and stuff already, they definitely had to have some. I would call your local Best Buy (and Target) though before heading over there.

They make more $$$ on accessories than the actual ipads.

Cincinnati Western Hills Best Buy had a black iPad mini behind the service desk that they let you use, play with.

They also had all configurations in black, but only a few white 16gb.

This was as about 9 this morning.

Good luck!

I went to Best Buy this morning and asked if they had a display model. One of the guys had to go to the back and get it so I grabbed a ticket to buy one. He brought it out and handed it to me and walked off. I played around with it for a few minutes and had to find someone to give it back to. I finally found the manager and gave it to him.

Have fun in the "Nati" with your new iPad Mini, that is if you picked up one :)

No White Models in my local Best Buy or Target.... but they had only 5 mini's at Target. Best Buy was handing out paper certificates for the mini. Only 4 people in line at Best Buy. Target had no one. I picked mine up at Target and my neighbor purchased it with her employee discount so I basically picked up a black 32GB version for 20 dollars more than what I would have paid for a 16GB.

No white models spotting in BB still? ... ^* thanks.

I need a white.

Have a white iPhones except iP5. Have a black iPad 3.

My BB has all sizes of black mini's in stock, but no whites and no smart covers.

They had a display model (not tethered!) that I was able to spend some time with. Ultimately decided to stick with the 4 I ordered.

To those who went to BB : Do they have iPad Mini on display I could play around?

Nope, I had to go to the cust service to get mine.

Clark St, Chicago Store, they had no 16gb White and Black left. They should have 32 and 64gb ones though.
