So needed 2 5S and att would only sell me one so I swung by best buy and there early upgrade price is $200 but att and elsewhere is $250. Along with the $50 upgrade gift card I signed up for early this year I ended getting the 64gb for $3 more than the 32gb I bought at att.

I bought 3 iphones. All for $212 each because of CT tax. The guy told me there would be a $36 dollar activation fee with At&t but that if I called at&t when I get my bill and bitch about it could get waived. I just have to make a big enough fuss.

Radio shack and Best buy has actually waived that fee for me before. $36 per phone is a crap load of money $108....

Yeah I don't get the activation fees either I was just surprised that best buy was charging less for the upgrade fee than att themselves

I think you will most likely get the $250 fee charged by AT&T next month.

Or was it that you paid $200 for early fee + $199 for the phone (if you chose the 16GB)

I paid the $200 plus $400 for the 64gb usually it would be $650 but I got it for $600. Plus I got another $50 giftcard on top so only paid $587 after tax.
