Best Buy has MacBook (2.16ghz) for $799

This really was a killer amazing deal. I guess keep your eye out for it to hit again, though. I'm sure they're just clearing out all their old macbooks
 
Not instock around here. :( I was ready to upgrade my ibook for this price.
 
Theres 6 stores around me that have them :) Wish i needed a macbook. Killer deal!

They seem sold out in both the Washington DC area and the Los Angeles area.

Sucks. They must not have had many in stock.
 
My local BestBuy still has some black books. I'm almost tempted to grab one.

I noticed the other day they were listed at $1099, now they are $1199.
 
They have em in stock where i live, Omaha, NE...that is if anyone even knows where Nebraska is...lol... too bad im too poor at the moment as I am looking to switch to mac, this is such a great deal especially for the blackbook

Oh wow, if I were there I'd get it just to maybe resell it. That's the same price I bought my White MB for...
 
Seems they are available at just about every store in my area (Temecula, CA). Surprising really.. they NEVER have any sale item in stock.. its like a scheme just to get people in the door... advertise a great deal when you have low stock. The other thing they do is play around with the prices... I was recently on the market for a MBP and they have a open box unit for 1699... but then they had a sidewalk sale of all open box items.. I noticed the price on the unit... 1799 + 10% off... how ironic.
 
Funny, I went to my local Best Buy and they didn't show them on line but had them in stock when you went into the store. They weren't even offering the new ones.
 
Got my MacBook(2.16GHz white) in December for $1000.00 from BestBuy. I didnt think they would have anymore after that deal.:confused:
 
Many times Best Buy will have them in the back, but not on display. They will go and check to see if they have any in stock.
