Best buy iPad preorder question!!

I just wanted to know does best buy do the preoders the same day for the iPads as apple ? I have a gift card for best buy, so I plan on purchasing the iPad mini with it. And has anyone used best buy to preorder , if so how was the iPad? Did you have to return it due to defects? Thx a lot:)

Lol Best Buy gets their iPads from Apple same as the Apple retailers and everywhere else that sells them.....if you get a defective model it has nothing to do with the store you bought it from.

Unless of course that store is some dude's garage or a back alley.

I worked at BBY during the iPad 3 release and while we did pre-orders for it (same day as Apple I think), it wasn't necessary. There were plenty on release day. Only about 25 people in line at my store and we had hundreds.
 
I would be shocked if you could not walk into apple or best buy on launch day and pick one up.
