Apple announced the new Apple Watch lineup earlier this week, including the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple Watch Ultra 3. If you're planning to pre-order the Ultra 3, Best Buy is offering a $50 discount to its members this week.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with Best Buy. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

To get this deal, you need to be a My Best Buy Plus or Total member, and when you add the smartwatch to your cart you'll automatically see the $50 discount applied. This knocks the price of the brand new device down to $749.00, from $799.00.

Note: My Best Buy Plus/Total members only.

This offer is available for many models of the Apple Watch Ultra 3, including the Titanium Milanese Loop model. Earlier this week, we highlighted other pre-order deals on new Apple devices, including $20 in Best Buy credit when purchasing the AirPods Pro 3.

It’s not a deal if you have to pay Best Buy ahead of time to use a membership.
It is if you already have the membership. Personally I have the top one since it includes AppleCare on any Apple product I purchase from them or their Geek Squad protection on everything else. Plus the 60 day return policy.

Yeah their membership is a decent deal if you frequently buy new tech. Includes AppleCare on products you buy too and these special discounts. I just wish they offered more options for Mac hardware. Or at least they didn’t the last time I purchased almost two years ago, no higher memory specs.

Serious question. Why do users buy the Ultra version as opposed to the standard Watch? Thanks!
For me because it’s not much more than the standard stainless steel but I get a much larger display which makes it easier to go use, it’s more rugged as I’ve broken an Apple Watch display before and am active outside a lot with my wife and kids, and the main reason is because the battery is insane and even two years in I never have to worry about it unlike watches in the past which would just die while hiking, swimming, etc. For me it’s so much better. It’s not as dressy or sleek but that works for me because I’m a pretty casual guy and work from home running my company. The Ultra is all about function over form, even though it doesn’t look bad.

The advantages are (1) pay over 24 months interest free (vs 12 months through Apple) and (2) if you have the Total membership you get “free” Apple Care. The disadvantage is what was pointed out above that even for the AWU2, they BB is offering over $50 less.

Best Buy’s trade in value for the Ultra 1 is $50 less, making a wash for me. I rather order from Apple than dealing with Beat Buy.
You can always buy from Best Buy but trade in to Apple for Apple credits you use later on. Apple does not require that you literally “trade” one device for another.
