Best Buy most likely won't have pre-orders. I don't even think they sold the iPad 2 online until months after it was launched.

They did do in-store "pre-orders" though, but you weren't gaurenteed to get one on launch day. They just held them for you when they came in. When I worked there, we still had pre-orders for iPads MONTHS after it was released because stock was so low.

Honestly you will probably be better off ordering from Apple online, if you can.

As much as i would love to order from Apple, I can't ignore a $400 gift card left over from xmas!
