Best Buy preorders?

Is there any news about pre ordering from BB?
I got a gift card that I would like to use toward the purchase of the 4S.

I work for Best Buy Mobile, nothing in our system yet.

Even if you have gift card, best buy will probably ask you to down pay 50 dollars to reserve your spot.

That has been always the case with past pre-orders with best buy.

Since apple accepts pre-orders on starting October 7 Th.. I would expect same.

I love when prior to today BBY employees try to say they have a scoop. I have been there 5 yrs, I get my news from the same places everyone else doe(here, engadget, gizmodo, thisismynext, bgr, etc..) We won't have alot of details until Thursday after when managers have their conference call.

I don't mind putting $50 towards the preorder and then when it comes in I got another gift card I could use towards the purchase.
