Just got back from Best Buy. I saw that they have the 150 Raptor for $192. It goes for $230 at most places. I almost bought one but considering I just bought 8gb of Ram and a 750gb drive. But you never know...

thats almost the price for a 500GB drive. Why would anyone get a 150 instead just because it may be faster by a little bit?

Those 10k drives really do make a difference; it is now one of the main bottlenecks in computers (hard drive access speed).

granted. but I am older now so a micro second here or there isnt enough to move me much. Im so awed still by my core 2 cpu iMac that I cannot imagine what else I would want. except for Leopard maybe!
