I stopped at a Best Buy today to pick up a new Speck from my rMBP. A man was inquiring about the Mid 2014 13" rMBP i5/8/256 on sale for $1349. clerk was telling him they were out of the 2014 but would sell him the new 2015 for the same price. Thought i would pass that along in case anyone is looking. I don't know when this event ends but I'm sure thats a closeout price anyway.

I personally think that associate had no idea what they were talking about. I doubt that would get approved at checkout.
They often don't. I was directed to 2 stores before getting my 2012 Mac mini for $399 plus tax last October.
